How to edit a PDF for free in Kenya

You don't need paid software to fix a PDF. PDFLegit PRO is a free PDF editor made for Kenya — retype sentences, add text, white out mistakes and sign, and your file never leaves your device.

Edit the words already in the PDF

  1. Open the Edit PDF tool and choose your file.
  2. Click any word. The whole sentence is selected, keeping its original font style and size.
  3. Type to replace words or press Backspace to delete them.
  4. Click away when you're happy, then save.

Clicking a word only selects it — nothing changes until you actually type, so pointing around the page is always safe.

Add new text, highlights and signatures

  • Add text anywhere on the page, in the size you choose.
  • Highlight passages like a marker pen.
  • Sign by drawing your signature or uploading a photo of it.
  • White out mistakes — the covered content is permanently removed from the downloaded file, not just hidden.

Remove or replace images and barcodes

Point at any image, logo or barcode and a red box appears around it. Tap it to see a preview, then delete it or replace it with a different picture.

Is it really free?

Yes. The free plan includes 3 tasks a day, and everything runs on your own device — your document is never uploaded to a server. If you edit PDFs all day, the Pro plans remove the daily limit.

PDF tools in Kenya

PDFLegit PRO is built for Kenya: a free PDF editor that works in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and anywhere else — right in your browser, even on a phone. The free plan includes 3 tasks a day, and Pro is priced in Kenyan shillings (KSh 650 for 7 days, KSh 900 a month, KSh 6,500 a year) with M-Pesa and card payment. Because every file is processed on your own device, it works well on mobile data and keeps sensitive documents — contracts, IDs, business forms — private.

Ready to try it?
